Valentine Bears

The children loved these Valentine bears they saw at Wal Mart today. They were as big or bigger than them. They kept telling me that if we didn't get them that they were so cute they would not be there for long. I told them we could come visit them again another day.

Karate Good News

He was so excited to wear his "gentle used" Karate outfit.
I had to hem it 13 inches... so it has lots of room for him to grow.
Before class started today Caleb's teacher said she wanted
to move him from the "Beginner Preschool" class to the
"Advanced Beginner Preschool" class.

At the end of class Caleb received his first belt. GO CALEB!!!

Matching Outfits from Auntie Kim

These are the outfits the girls received for Christmas from their Auntie Kim.

They wanted to wear them right away but needed to be hemmed.

I finally hemmed them and they were so excited.

Desiree was so excited her outfit matched her school backpack.

Tatiana taking a break on Shamu while waiting for everyone to finish getting ready for school. Shamu went to school today with Desiree and is going to spend a few nights there. They are studying ocean animals and are going to Sea World for a field trip next Monday.

Home Depot 1/30/2010

Today at Home Depot they made the "Heart Flower Boxes".

For now we put them next to their other plants.

"Sock Hop"

Daddy and Desiree went by themselves for a special Father/Daughter time.

and Caleb was too busy playing to care.

Lowe's January 2010

On January 9th we made "Coin Banks".

Today at Home Depot we made a "Car Display".

Home Depot 1/16/2010

Today at Home Depot we made Coasters.

Desiree using the glue to place her tiles

and Caleb building the frame for his tiles.

Tatiana sanding her coaster so it is nice and smooth.

One of the best things about this project is they were able to us LOTS of glue. Normally it seems like I am always saying, "not too much glue" but today I had to keep saying, "more glue...that's not enough".

Here is the finished product. 3 beautiful coasters.

Tatiana's computer.

Tatiana's computer skills have improved so much. She is able to navigate the pages with little or no help. Her favorite program is "Pet Shop" by Fisher Price. In this picture she is creating a fish tank. She picks the background, the props, and the fish. When she is done she is able to watch her fish tank in action.

Gymnastics

Desiree started Gymnastics today. January 15th, 2010.

This is Desiree with her Gymnastics instructors.

Desiree had a lot of fun and has been showing us everything she learned.

Karate

Caleb started Karate today. January 12th, 2010

This is Caleb with his Karate instructors

Caleb had lots of fun and wishes he could go more than once a week.

Little Miss Independent

Tatiana dressed herself...p.j.'s on bottom, a dress

in the middle, and on top another pair of p.j.'s.

She also did her own hair. :)
