We still do not have definite answers of the exact cause of death. The preliminary autopsy showed signs of a heart attack. The final autopsy was performed today, and no results have been given at this time.


David leaves behind his wife Rachel, 2 children: Kailee (5) and David Charles Wendeln III (3) a Mother, 4 sisters, 11 nieces/nephews, and a lot of friends. He was residing in North Carolina at the time of his death. Arrangements are being made to bring him home to Poway, CA. to be laid to rest.

My brother was a very special man and the impact of his death will effect many. I appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers.


Final arrangements have been made for David's Memorial Service. It will be held at 11am April 18th at "The Well " Church (formerly First Baptist Church of Poway) 13604 Midland Rd. Poway, CA. Lunch will immediately follow the service in the fellowship hall. My Family and I would love for you to join us to celebrate David's life.
